RoboCop: Rogue City – a first-person shooter based on the original RoboCop trilogy – is coming to consoles and PC in 2023. “Faithful to this monument of science fiction, this first-person action-adventure game will ask you to save the city of Detroit from criminals and other crooked corporations,” the official press release reads. Theoretically, this should mean new foes and new threats, though I’d bet good money that we’re going to get at least one appearance from ED-209. Rather than being an adaptation of the original trilogy, Rogue City is slated to tell an original story set in the same universe.
The game is being published by Nacon, and has received the official blessing of MGM Studios. Teyon, developer of Terminator: Resistance, announced earlier this week that they are working on RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter game based on the original RoboCop film trilogy.
